Driving along the Interstate during the fall is one of my and my husband’s favorit things about living in Georgia. Of course, when you have to do this very early in the morning, it tends to be more than a bit chilly. In fact, when mid-September rolls around, I start keeping a jacket in the car. Because with Georgia’s sometimes finicky weather, you never know when a 20-degree temperature drop will surprise you.
Thankfully, I work from home, so on the chilly days, I can curl up on the couch with a warm blanket and my laptop. But if I’m going to keep a blanket on my couch, it’s got to look great too. It also helps if it can serve double duty on my bed. This brushed organic cotton blanket from Garnet HIll is my type of style. Though the colors may be considered a bit too cool for fall decor, as far as I’m concerned, great design never goes out of season.
