I love interesting chairs. While I doubt that I would put six of them around a dining table, they are a great way to add a little bit of flavor to an otherwise traditional or unextraordinary room. In fact, if you are looking for a bit transformation with a smallish budget, an awesome chair is a great investment.
This Bamboo “S” Chair from Uncommon Goods is a great candidate. With a curvy shape that is sure to stop traffic, it may be just the spice your room needs to go from bland to grand. Handmade of strips of natural bamboo, I absolutely love the dark wood color. It has a modern look with a bit of an Asian influence — very much the type of chair you might find at the head of the dining table or in a reading corner in my house.

What a great reasonably priced chair. I wonder if it is comfy.

Jennae,
I have reviewed your exceptional site – http://www.geartblog.com/green-your-decor/
About the chair, I love the form, would look great as the room’s feature where it is placed.
Cheers!

Dig it! It looks a little off balance to me, like if you sit back too much you’ll fall over, but I love the look.

Super cutie chair… doesn’t look comfortable, but would look RIGHT nice tucked in a corner so you can see that terrific curve. Thanks for sharing it!

FYI— this bamboo chair is stable and comfy (okay, not comfy like your worn-in couch, but the curve actually makes it nice to sit in). If you are looking for bamboo…we have a lot to offer. Enjoy!
