I know, I know…today isn’t Sunday. But I’ve been reconsidering whether I should keep posting on the weekends. This is an extension of my epiphany about spending too much time in front of the computer. This weekend, I spent a lot more time with my family than I would have had I been online, and I know they enjoyed it as much as I did. Feel free to leave a comment about whether you enjoy new weekend content from Green Your Decor, or whether the archives are deep enough to keep you busy until Monday. I’d love to hear from you!

I think that the site is good enough to hold itself through the weekend. Your family deserves your time and all readers should understand this. I have three kids, a husband and love to spend my time with them.
My kids are now at school full time so I try to do my work in that time frame….remember, you do what is most important to you. Your family deserves time with you too, so take advantage of that and spend it with them. The computer work can always wait…
I’ve always liked coming to your site and feel that there is plenty to keep me busy without having to have fresh content throughout the weekends
Barb:)
I agree with Barbara,
Down time with family is essential. Weekends are precious. You update your site all week faithfully and really we should all take example and spend less time on the computer and more time in nature and with family and friends.
@ Barb & Lisa Thank you for your kinds words and support. I know my husband will definitely be happyy with my decision to stop posting on weekends
I think I may start posting Link Love on Fridays to sort of wrap up the week and give readers something to read through the weekend. Thanks for chiming in, guys!
I bet if you track your traffic on the weekends, it drops off quite a bit. At least that’s what i’ve seen with every blog I’ve ever done. People stop reading on the weekends.
Anyway, thanks again for the link love.
Dave Conreys last blog post..3 Things – Get Your Green Drink On
I love this blog, the “why it’s green” is a great idea. Thank you for taking time to share these ideas.
I’m new to your site, so I realize this post a bit after-the-fact, but my response is thus:
WOMAN! Take the weekends OFF!!! The most green thing in the universe is family time.
=)
