Wal-mart is certainly trying to improve their public image and I must admit that I appreciate their efforts. I visit them at least 2-3 times a month, over Target, but my hubby still has a strong disdain for them and refuses to come along. :) He'll come around though - especially when I show him how much I've saved. I even bought organic dog biscuits there. So, if they say the demographics are there in all states, they are wrong. If they can do it in Ithaca, they can green their stores everywhere. In addition, please push for them to take back CFLs like Home Depot. I am always checking with their PR person as to the status of this venture and get "we are looking into it" line. Good Luck.
