Structured Green Floor Sale: Santa Barbara Sectional

There’s nothing like a good floor sale to get any savvy decorator’s heart pumping. For those who don’t know why, floor sales = slashed prices on floor model pieces. Most of the time, the furniture will be in excellent condition, maybe with a scratch or ding here or there. This scratch or ding, however, can translate into hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars off the original price.

The latter is the case for this awesome eco-friendly Santa Barbara sectional by RC Green. The original retail value for these specific options is $6800 from this seller, Structured Green, and I’ve seen it in other online stores for as much as $8900. If you’re in the market for a truly green sofa and you can afford to spend a couple thousand, this is a great way to get more than $1500 off.

This floor model is upholstered in white bamboo fabric, as shown in the top photo. I know there are questions about the eco-friendliness of converting bamboo to fabric, but it’s hard to look past this deal. If choose to buy the sofa brand new, however, there are other fabric options, like linen and hemp.

Why It’s Green:

  • Frames made with FSC-certified wood
  • Recycled steel used for all springs and screws
  • Glues and stains are non-toxic & formaldehyde free
  • Cushions and pillows made of soy foam, with the option of natural latex
  • Range of eco-fabrics to choose from: Cotton, Linen, Bamboo, Hemp
  • Made in the USA using only local resources

Price: $4250

@ Tina The color isn’t very family friendly, but they have other pieces in the same sale that would be more appropriate for kids.
