A Not-So-Subtle Reminder: Keep Calm & Carry On Poster

Keep Calm And Carry On Poster

When you work from home and work for yourself, it can be really easy to become uninspired and/or overwhelmed. There’s no face to face social interaction (although Twitter serves as a great virtual stand-in), and I’m always doing 10 things at once and feeling like I’m on the edge.

I know, I know…you’ve been seeing these posters everywhere. I have too, and I really want one — it is a concise reminder that no matter how overwhelmed I might feel, panicking won’t help matters. The message, originally intended as WWII propaganda, also has an eerie timeliness given the dire state our nation’s economy.

The problem for me, of course, is that I wanted it to be printed sustainably. I’ve passed over lots of duplications for weeks, on etsy and everywhere else. And then today, when I wasn’t even looking for it, I found these posters at ReForm School, one of my favorite little online stores. Looks like I’ve got some visual inspiration coming right up.

Why It’s Green:

  • Printed on recycled paper with soy-based inks

Price: $24

These 5 little words could be interpreted in many ways. So what does this message mean to you?
