Recycle & Redecorate: Recycled Green Glass Table Lamp

Recycled Green Glass Table Lamp

If you’re a regular reader, you know by now that I’m pretty much a sucker for recycled…well…recycled anything. A product that was created from reused materials is my definition of ingenuity at work. It makes me feel like the company or person who made said product “gets it.” By “it”, I mean that consumers care how the products we are buying were made.

This lamp embodies that spirit of sustainability, and it is colorful and stylish to boot. With a base made of recycled glass, it is short and squat and perfect for a little girl’s room. Since I have pre-decorated my 3-year-old’s “big girl” room in pink and green, I’ll have to keep this one on the short list.

The price is a little prohibitive, but I’m believing with all my might that soon, price won’t be an issue for me or my family. You should believe that for yourself, too :)

Why It’s Green:

  • Made of recycled glass

Price: $299

Hey:) I like your blog a lot and these lamps look pretty cool! For green outdoor lighting, I would recommend solar lights, they are not only pretty but they also help you save on your energy bills.

These for instance look like little stars:)) I have them in blue.

Little girls room… shoot I want these in my bedroom or my office. I’d put them in my living room. Of course dreaming of all these lamps I’ve temporarily blocked out the price. However making a purchase like this I would look at it as an investment, not only in style but in ecology.

@Betty Thanks for the link and the solar lighting.

@Sherry I like the way you think :) Unfortunately for me, I see the beauty and green qualities in a lot of these products before I look at the price too.
