Link Love: Win Some Green!

We were supposed to be moving today, but it isn’t going quite as planned. In fact, we’re pretty much stuck right now. So I’m trying to make the best of the situation, but it’s a bit hard to see the forest for the trees at the moment.  I’ll leave you with some great green reads for your weekend and hopefully I’ll be back to my regular posting next week:

From the Blogosphere & News-o-sphere:

Green Giveaways:

  • Win a set of 25 custom holiday greeting cards from ElanInk and Green Mom Finds. The holiday cards are printed on FSC-certified paper from responsibly managed forests. Ends Nov. 23.
  • Win a stylish reusable shopping bag from the Green Chic Bag Company and Handmade Showcase. Ends Nov. 29.
  • Win an awesome green living prize package from Focus Organic and Jump Start to Green. Among other things, the prize package includes a couple of CFLs, a Kleen Kanteen stainless steel water bottle and a SmartStrip powerstrip — all products that can help you make everyday living greener. Ends Dec. 6.

Green Shopping:

Some of you may have noticed that I added a new page to Green Your Decor: Coupons.  Here, I will keep a list of all the coupon codes that have been bestowed upon GYD, along with some great deals that I’ve found online or via my affiliate links. All of them will be for green products or retailers. For example, my newest sponsor Gaiamicon offered up this gem just for you, my dear readers:

  • FREE shippingicon on all orders, no minimums, with coupon code “AFGRN.” (aff)

Check out the coupons page for more great deals.

From Green Your Decor:

  • You’ve still got a few hours left to enter to win a beautiful rescued art construction from the fabulous eco-artist, Dolan Geiman.  You can also enter to win a pair of Pure & Natural soy candles, and there’s an extra entry method that gets you FIVE additional entries with just the click of a mouse :)
  • For those of you who are preparing to do some holiday decorating, of if you’ve already started, look out for Green Your Decor’s new Green Christmas series, coming soon. There will be a week full of posts, culminating with a huge — and I mean HUGE — eco-friendly holiday decor giveaway at the end. Can’t wait? Neither can I :)
  • Green Your Decor is offering green decorating advice. Have a room that needs a little help? Want to green your home but don’t know where to start? Find out more about how I can help you!
  • Want to make sure you don’t miss any great green products or projects? If you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to Green Your Decor via RSS or email newsletter!

Thanks for the link to the giveaway :)

I’d enter for the Green Chic bag, but mine is already on its way – the blue one in the first picture on the giveaway – so I probably shouldn’t take up a spot in the contest!

Sorry to hear your move is postponed. There must be good reasoning and divine timing in it all somewhere!

Happy eco blessings!

I like the bag – I like that it has a lid to keep things clean and from spilling out. Thanks!
