Everything sounds wonderful about bamboo sheets besides that. Does bamboo sheets pill easily or just over a long period of time? I dont want sheets that after three washes are crummy. Bamboo sheets are really quite luxurious, plus they are good for you and the environment. You can also get sheets in a cotton/bamboo blend. I have seen thread counts as high as 1000. I'm not sure how they compare to high-end sheets like that, but on their own, they feel incredibly smooth, luxurious and soft to the touch. Forgot to mention along with the GREAT bed sheets i got from sleepsosoft for that special price they give a free set of pillow cases as an extra,GREAT DEAL and GREAT people. They came out smooth and not very wrinkled and I didn't have any shrinkage. They still fit the bed nice and snug. I've had bad luck with bamboo sheets from more than one manufacturer shrinking strangely the first time they're put through a standard washer-dryer cycle by myself or a client.
