Green Your Walls: Mythic Paint Giveaway!

If you’re trying to green your home and you want to start by painting, this is your lucky week.

Mythic Paint is offering offering two gallons of their awesome zero-VOC paint in eggshell finish in your color of choice and one gallon of primer to one lucky reader of Green Your Decor. This is a great way to start off your next decorating project on a green foot. So how do you win? Visit the Mythic website, then come back here and leave a comment about something you liked or learned about the company and what color you would choose if you won. Comments that do not answer both of these questions will be deleted. And don’t worry — you can change your mind about the color if you win. Do this by 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, January 19, 2009, to enter.

5 Patti January 12, 2009 at 2:46 pm: This is perfect, especially for painting in the winter when I can’t open up to “air-out” the voc’s. What a great variety of colors, thought I have a hard time judging color online- what if my screen isn’t calibrated right, and I can’t judge what the color will do in different light-daylight vs. tungsten, etc! But from the looks of it I think I would love the Gathering Moss color from their bright green collection! Thanks!

If I were to win, I would like to pick colors that are similar to the original colors of our house so I would have to pull the paperwork and get them to match it (they say they can match competitor colors which is another cool thing)

I can’t STAND the smell of paint. I also love that it doesn’t emit the cancer-causing toxins. NOBODY likes cancer-causing toxins.

I just painted the computer room last week with no VOC paint but I got the FreshAire at home depot although I had checked out Mythic.
I would be brave and want to try out Pink Potentilla…I was going for an Aqua but got overwhelmed at all the choices!

Since my pets spend more time in my home than I do, it’s especially important to me to keep their environment as safe as possible. I was thrilled with the color choices. I love white paint, as I can then change the look of my room frequently by changing accessories. Still, I’m drawn to the sage colors, but couldn’t choose my favorite yet!
