I am becoming obsessed with the look of ginkgo leaves. Ever since I received the Kayla Organic Cotton Duvet Set to review a few weeks ago from Blissliving Home, I’ve been drawn to the look of graphic ginkgo patterns.
Its not that I’ve never seen them before. In fact, I can think of lots of home accessories that feature this particular leaf, and I’ve featured some of them here at Green Your Decor before. But once you have something in your own home, you start to notice other items with similar designs or motifs that would complement it. So this Ginkgo Leaf Lamp from Viva Terra is really calling my name right now.
The beautiful body is sculpted from recycled metal, so it is green enough to meet my discerning standards — assuming of course that it is CFL and/or LED light bulb compatible. The natural woven shade is beautiful as well, and I can picture the light softly filtering through it. I’m not sure what specific material its made of, but I will definitely try to find out. We really need a new lamp in our bedroom. The one we’re currently using barely provides enough light to see, even with a CFL. Looks like this lamp may be going on my wish list…
Why It’s Green:
- Made of recycled metal with a natural woven shade
- Sold by Viva Terra, a company that is built on and dedicated to sustainability
Price: $375 (aff)

I love that lamp, but I’ve heard that VivaTerra is not a good place to order from, or I’d get this right now!
@Mandi I haven’t heard anything about their ordering process or customer service, but then, I’ve never ordered from them either. I have dreamed though
What have you heard?
