I personally have never worked with Blogger, so I can't offer you any specific tips, but there are a couple of things to consider when you're designing your blog. First is readbility. Patterned or colored backgrounds on your content area almost always make it harder to read. Second is clutter. It can be tempting to add every sidebar widget your can find to your sidebar, but they can tend to make your blog look jumbled. When you have a big family (or even a small one) you have to get creative and find ways to stow and hang items without looking tacky. This set of hooks is beautiful and eco-friendly. I love them. I also saw Sharla's comment about starting up her own blog. I am there with you. Everyone keeps telling me how easy it is, yet somehow, I am having so much trouble. I wanted 3 columns but couldn't figure that out, I try sending my blog, in email to people, and they open to a blank page. If you have any tips, I'd love to hear them.
