Here we go again: Ginkgo Leaf Poster from Bold & Noble

Ginkgo leaf poster

There are lots of reasons why I believe in the Law of Attraction, but one of those reasons was cemented in my mind today. One of the main concepts of the law is “like attracts like.” This concept is why I had an obsession with bird motifs for months on end — I kept finding more and more products featuring birds. And now that I’m coveting ginkgo leaf designs, I keep running into beautiful pieces everywhere I go. Get it? Like attracts like. And I am head over heels for this gorgeous Gigkgo leaf screenprint poster from Etsy seller boldandnoble.

It is such a simple design, with the ginkgo leaves grouped to form a circle, but it has just enough personality to make me want one. Like now. It is available in a bold chartreuse and a more muted gray (warm stone). The walls in our room are currently bare, save for a few hooks to hold our coats, and the solid, unending walls are driving me crazy. They need some life and personality! Some eco-friendly personality, of course.

I can think of just the place to hang this to give me something beautiful to look at every morning. Looks like I may have to pull out the ironing board to press my Kayla Organic Cotton Duvet Set to perfection and start saving for the ginkgo lamp from Viva Terra. I think my room has found a new motif :) There’s just one caveat. These posters are printed in England, so it would cost me a lot of carbon emissions to have it shipped. Green living is quite the balancing act…

Why It’s Green:

LOVE , WANT

I’m trying to encourage my youngest to get away from saying “want” all the time. I need to quit.
