Inauguration Day 2009, originally uploaded by USA TODAY.Sorry I haven’t posted the last couple of days. I’ve been so caught up in the historic atmosphere of the inaguration that I could barely pull myself away from MSNBC. This day marks a new beginning for our nation, and I am so thankful to have been able to be a part of it. I honestly believe that a greener future powered by clean energy and green jobs is ahead.
So to all the readers of Green Your Decor, Happy Inaguration Day! There’s more great green content coming this week!

I’m Jennae Petersen, and I’m a lot of things. A mother, a graphic artist, a connosieur of beautiful interiors and a purveyor of all things design. Green Your Decor was borne of frustration in my attempts to find eco-friendly housewares that were also beautiful, and inspiration to do something to reduce my own carbon footprint and help others do the same in a beautiful way.
