Finding green steals is sometimes a science. After months of doing this, I tend to know where to look and which retailers’ newsletters to subscribe to. But sometimes, I happen upon a great deal completely by chance. And anyone who says these sets of organic cotton grommet-top curtain panels aren’t a steal must not have seen the prices on other eco-friendly window treatments. A set of 2 84″ curtains for just $50 is almost unheard of and by far the best deal I’ve found anywhere.
Smart Bargains is carrying the panels in 5 neutral, obviously nature-inspired colors: camel, natural, green, chocolate and striped. I personally prefer grommet-top curtains to almost every other style (of which there are many). The grommets lend themselves to a clean drape and a modern look that just isn’t possible with traditional rod-top panels or fancy pleated panels. At $50 for the set of 2, I really can’t complain that there is only one available size. 84″ will be adequate for most home decorators, although I do tend to prefer longer lengths to give a room some extra height.
Considering I’ve been needing some curtain panels for my daughter’s room and my room (and the ceilings are fairly low in both rooms), I’m ecstatic to have found this deal, and I’ll be taking advantage of it myself.
