Dress Up Your Walls on the Cheap: Fun, Affordable Art by twotrickpony

My husband and I painted our daughter’s room a few months ago, and I’ve been meaning to complete the look by adding some fun wall art. I was inspired by an awesome DIY art project that I posted yesterday, but when we moved to Tennessee, we left most of our knick knacks behind in storage. So until I collect enough small pieces of miscellaneous “stuff” to create a DIY collage (hopefully not on purpose), I’ll be on the hunt for fun, colorful, eco-friendly art that won’t break the bank. Not far into my search, I found etsy seller twotrickpony, and I already want to buy at least two prints.

The themes are whimsical in nature and perfect for a child’s room. My daughter is 3 and already knows her colors and most of her letters, so I like adding elements to her room that inspire me to give her a friendly quiz. The “Hello Sunshine” print would help her learn how to recognize and spell those words. (Thanks to MadeByGirl, she can now spell “love” like a champ). I also want to use about 10 prints to create an art wall with a variety of prints in different shapes, sizes and frame styles sort of similar to the way the images look above (but not overlapping). I think these would be the perfect start for a mini gallery.
