Green Steal of the Week: Organic Snow Leopard Bath Mat

When I step out of the shower, I just love the feeling of stepping onto a plush rug and sinking my toes into it. Having in-floor also means that the rug is often warm when I step on it. It is the epitome of at-home bathroom luxury — or at least it feels that way. As much as I love the look of pebble tile or slate in a bathroom, I would be lost without at least a small rectangle of comfort on an otherwise bare floor. And if I can get that small rectangle of comfort in organic cotton for just $10, and it’s dripping with style? I’m all over it.

This organic cotton snow leopard bath mat may be small, but it is big on style. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that changing the look of your bathroom is incredibly easy to do. A new shower curtain or rug can take a room that feels dated and boring to the next level. Not hard to do in a room that is likely the smallest in your home (unless of course you’re blessed with the massive, luxurious, spa-like bathroom every girl dreams of). Lucky for us, West Elm also carries an organic color block shower curtain that would be the perfect minimal complement to the snow leopard print on the rug. A simple bathroom makeover for less than $100 (including the shower curtain) is easier than you thought, huh?

Why It’s Green:

  • Made of organic cotton

Price: $9.99 (down from $29)

Cute rug :-) I totally agree with you — I need a nice, soft mat to step onto when I get out of the shower. It’s the next best thing to a heated floor!!
