After 2 weeks of trying to nurse myself back to health, I’m finally beginning to feel like myself again. I’m still a little sore and lightheaded, but overall, feeling much better. So, I wanted to give you an update about some of the things I’m doing and what’s coming up.
Walmart has launched the Earth Month You Tube channel, which is a means for all of us ElevenMoms and other members of the Walmart community to offer tips on making your life greener. You can find everything from simple ways to green your kitchen to reviews of green products. And yes, that’s me you see in the screenshot above introducing the Earth Month efforts. In addition to some in-store promotions for Earth Month, like more organic cotton clothing, it’s definitely a step in the right direction for Walmart. Even if you aren’t a fan of the company, these are the type of tips that anyone can implement. They are simple ways to do you part in saving the Earth, so take a minute and watch some videos!
Also, Green Your Decor’s 1-year anniversary (April 18) is quickly approaching. I’ve been trying to come up with some great ideas to celebrate, but I want to hear from you, my awesome readers. What would you like to see as Green Your Decor turns a year old? Awesome giveaways? A week of vlogs? Some national press (hint, hint )? Feel free to share your suggestions in the comments below. I am excited that my blog has reached this milestone that so many blogs never reach, so I want to do something special and share it with my readers.
Thanks for sticking with me through the flu and its aftermath, and I’ll do my best to continue making Green Your Decor a great resource for all your green needs. I’ll have a big announcement later this week about a new venture I’m undertaking. I don’t want to spill the beans just yet, but I promise, it’s more green goodness
