I’ve alluded to it, but never really came right out and said it. My family and I are getting ready to move to a new state, so I’ve been more than a little busy over the past week or 2 trying to get everything situated. We’re not sure exactly when, but if all goes well, it will be in the next few days. So if there’s a day or 2 when I miss posting, please forgive me. I’m trying to line up some guest posters so there’s no gap in content. For your green weekend, here are some great reads, deals and giveaways to keep you going.

From the Blogosphere & News-o-sphere:

Green Giveaways:

Miscellaneous

I was asked recently what was the best gift I’ve ever received. My answer will sound kind of cheesy, but its the truth. One Christmas, my husband gave me a pair of really cute bright red pajamas. Not the lingerie kind, but the curl up on the couch and read a book kind. It was my favorite gift because it was the first time he had ever shopped for me without my telling him what I wanted. And I appreciated it so much more because of that :) This Christmas, I’d like to win a Zune MP3 player for him. I have an iPod, but he has nothing, and he really likes the Zune. Present Professor is giving one away.

Green Shopping

From Green Your Decor:

  • You’ve still got a few hours left to enter to win an awesome Flip Ultra video camera. Subscribers, there’s not automatic entry this time. You must comment to be entered. Don’t miss your chance to win an early Christmas present for yourself or a loved one. And you can also enter to win one of those vintage art calendars printed on recycled paper with soy-based inks — one features DC comics superheroes and the other features vintage University of Georgia football program art.
  • For those of you who are preparing to do some holiday decorating, of if you’ve already started, look out for Green Your Decor’s new Green Christmas series, coming soon. There will be a week full of posts, culminating with a huge — and I mean HUGE — eco-friendly holiday decor giveaway at the end. Can’t wait? Neither can I :)

Good luck with your move. Handle your affairs and don’t pressure yourself to post. We will be here when you return.
