Green Decorating in Shades of Blue

I’m not sure what it is about blue that makes the color so appealing to me, but I can’t seem to resist it. When I designed the logos for Green & Gorgeous and Hibiscus Creative (my graphic design studio), I used blue. When I had an opportunity to review a gallon of Olympic low-VOC paint, I chose an icy shade of blue. And when I am on the lookout for new, beautiful home decor products to share here, I always gravitate toward blue.

So here is a collection of some of my favorite green finds that just happen to be in shades of blue:

Once again, Jennae to the rescue. First you found us curtains, now a duvet cover and shams. Thank you! Just got my order confirmation from West Elm. Maybe someday, our house will have a style other than “we unpacked when we got here,” and all credit will go to Green Your Decor.

I’m totally all about blue right now as well…I’ve always been into cool colors, and purple is my favorite, but there’s something so refreshing about a great blue, on a wall or a piece of furniture.

@Skye Awww! I’m happy to come to your rescue any time! I’m pretty close to making that order myself, but we’re trying to find our own place before we start spending any more money on decorating :)

@Lindsey Purple is one of my favorites too! I even love the idea of painting a full room in a deep, fuchsia-infused purple with bright white trim and crown molding. Give me a glam, hollywood-style white upholstered headboard, and I’d be in heaven :)
