I have read in multiple places (just grabbed a quick google) that there are <a href="http://www.ncpa.org/sub/dpd/index.php?Article_ID=14099" rel="nofollow">five times the number of polar bears now</a> as existed in the 1970's and that some warming is actually good for the animals.
