I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching about my passions and the future of Green Your Decor. Lately, I’ve been writing a lot more about my own projects and things that I’m working on. It’s not that there’s a shortage of great green products to write about. In fact, I have so many bookmarked that its unlikely I’ll ever get to all of them.
It’s just that I personally love reading design blogs where the writer shares their projects and processes, tidbits about their lives, photos of their trips and day-to-day activities, before-and-afters, etc. It makes them feel more engaged and personal, in my opinion, and I’d love for my readers to have the same warm and fuzzy feelings about me as I do about my favorite bloggers.
And although I’ve heard from a lot of you that you love the Green Rooms in a Box series, those posts generally don’t get many comments. They take quite a while to put together, so I’m wondering how I can make the more interactive and fun for you, and how I can encourage more active participation.
So here’s where I’m asking for your help. I have included a short poll below, and I’d love to get your feedback. What would you like to see for the future of Green Your Decor? It’ll take just a few seconds to fill in the poll, but your responses will be invaluable to me and will help me continue to give you a blog experience that you love. If you’re reading this via RSS, you may have to visit the blog directly to answer the poll. So here we go:

I’m Jennae Petersen, and I’m a lot of things. A mother, a graphic artist, a connosieur of beautiful interiors and a purveyor of all things design. Green Your Decor was borne of frustration in my attempts to find eco-friendly housewares that were also beautiful, and inspiration to do something to reduce my own carbon footprint and help others do the same in a beautiful way.
