Fleur Vases by Lightenup Design

Lately, I have been finding and falling in love with some very vintagey pieces: antique chairs, fancy lamps, ornate damask patterns and handmade clay pieces, to name a few. This particular item falls into the last category. I’ve often told people who have asked for my design advice that black and white (or in this case, off white) is a color scheme that’s hard to get wrong, particularly when added to a room that has one or two other bright accent colors.

These Fleur Vases by Lightenup Design would be a perfect accent piece for your black and white room. They are described as having a “vintage vibe with a modern approach,” and I agree wholeheartedly. They are reminscent of old-school milk jugs, and with a milky white clay backdrop, the organic floral patterns hand-drawn on their surfaces in black really pop.

And because you get these vases in sets of three, you essentially get an instant centerpiece for about the same amount you’d pay for a nice single vase. Three for the price of one? Sounds like good decorating cents to me.

Why It’s Green:

  • Made of natural clay
  • Coated in homemade, eco-friendly glazes
  • Handmade to order

Price: $135
