When you have a home office, like I do, and you want everything in your home to look good, like I do and you want anything you buy new to be eco-friendly, like I do, it can be tough to find good storage furniture. Traditional file cabinets don’t really do it for me. And because I try to have a paperless office as much as possible (I use eFax and pretty much use paper only for financial records and sketching design ideas), I don’t have the need or, really, the space, for an oversized console table with storage drawers.
These colorful Naked Line Cabinets would solve the problem nicely. I blogged about the Stella stackable storage units recently, which would look fantastic in a child’s room. This is the adult’s answer to it, and they cost less. They are bold and fun, but it in a more grown-up way. They are made from 100 percent pre-consumer waste wood, so they’re also green. And what’s better is that because they are stackable, so you’d be able to start with 1 unit, then add more as your storage needs increased. Or your could buy a whole shelving system like the photo shown above. Mix and match the orange, gray and white door colors and make it your own.
Who knows…if your filing system looked this good, it might make you more likely to get all that bookkeeping and organizing done. Or at least that’s what I keep telling myself…
Why It’s Green:
- Built with formaldehyde free particleboard made from independently certified 100% pre-consumer recycled wood fibers
- Doors and panels made from laser-cut, powder coated steel
- Made in the U.S.
