There are a lot of great gift ideas to be found in this year’s Green Gift Guide, and I thought it only fair that you all be able to see at least some of them in person — not to mention have them as gifts for yourselves. In that spirit, you’ll find a green gift giveaway here at Green Your Decor every day for the next 2 weeks (though I may surprise you with even more!)
To kick things off, today you’ll have a chance to win an organic cotton t-shirt of your choice from Differently Clothing! You may remember that Differently is the organic t-shirt company I started with my husband. We focus on a variety of topics, including natural hair, green living, social responsibility and more. Our motto is simple: “Think Differently. Dress Differently.” We want our tees to be environmentally friendly because we believe that’s the only way to do business. But we want them to be fly too!
Up above, you’ll see me wearing my favorite Differently tee: “Don’t Tell Me to Relax!”
How to Win:

The winner will get to pick the shirt of their choice, including style, color and size. There are several ways to enter:
- Visit the Differently Clothing website. Then come back here and leave a comment telling me which design is your favorite OR something you learned about the company.
- Like Differently and Green Your Decor on Facebook. Then come back here and leave a comment with your Facebook name. (Feel free to post a message on the Differently wall too, though it’s not required!)
- Follow @DifferentlyEco and @greenyourdecor on Twitter and tweet about our tees or the giveaway. Your choice. Then come back here and leave a comment with a link to your tweet. Need help? Tweet this (or write your own tweet):
“Win a fly #organic cotton t-shirt from @DifferentlyEco & @greenyourdecor now! http://bit.ly/e8msd9 #green #giveaway” - Buy a t-shirt, and leave a comment letting me know that you did.
- If you haven’t already, sign up for Green Your Decor’s email updates by 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. You must verify your email subscription to be eligible. Current subscribers must leave a comment saying that you are a subscriber to be entered.
- If you’d prefer to receive your updates via RSS, sign up for the GYD feed. Then please leave a comment letting me know that you’ve done so, and be sure to include your email address. RSS-only subscribers are anonymous otherwise.
- Blog about Differently Clothing OR this giveaway and leave a comment with a link to your post.
You have up to 7 chances to enter, and the giveaway entry period ends at 11:59 p.m. December 8, 2010. U.S. mailing addresses only! A winner will be chosen via Random.org and contacted via email. Good luck everyone!

My favorite shirt is the one that says ‘Eat Local’. While they’re all great, I love that one because me and my husband try to live by that motto as much as possible. I’d have to say that one of my favorite local foods is local honey! It is just so deliciously divine!! And it helps tame allergies!
Live, dress, think love in that beautiful indigo/teal was really fun.
I like the Rock City 2011 tshirt best
…how about a “eat, wear, think, live organic” shirt?
