My husband and I try to make learning fun for our two-year-old. We quiz her on colors while we’re at the mall, have her count the “puppy toes” (my husband’s kid-friendly way of describing Clubs on playing cards) in a deck of cards when we’re playing Go Fish, etc. We’ve been looking for an alphabet poster to help her recognize her letters, but of course, I want it to be educational AND stylish. And we can’t forget green. Green qualities always helps me make a purchase decision. Unfortunately, nothing we found really satisfied all three categories.
That is, until the Tiny Decor blog and Robin Rosenthal came to my rescue. Rosenthal is the graphic designer and art director who illustrated the awesome alphabet and counting posters shown above. She is a woman after my own heart, both professionally (we’re both graphic artists) and in her choice of colors and fonts for the posters. I was literally floored when I saw them because I couldn’t believe how perfectly they match what I had been looking for. The alphabet poster is the larger of the two, at 24″ x 36″ unframed. The counting poster is 18″ x 24″.
Who ever said learning can be fun and stylish, too? “Not I,” said the design geek. I’ll always find a way to do both.
