Classic, Modern Marvels: Lotus Bleu Vintage Furniture

Lotus Bleu

My husband and I spent an afternoon earlier this week making our way through thrift stores trying to find hidden treasures: ie. ugly, outdated, or damaged furniture pieces that we could rehab and turn into something magnificent. The thing about that is, you literally have to be a visionary. You have to be able to look past said object’s current state and see it for what it can be — not always an easy task.

Luckily for all of us, there are so many companies that specialize in rehabbing vintage furniture. Lotus Bleu, a company I discovered via Jetson Green, makes the task look easy.  Who could resist these vintage chairs restored with gorgeous, modern fabrics? I couldn’t even pick a favorite!  From chaise lounges to danish armchairs and loveseats, each one-of-a-kind piece has classic bones and contemporary styling — the type of furniture you’ll want to hand down to your children.

Why It’s Green:

  • Buying vintage rescues items destined for the landfill and extends their life spans, also reducing demand for the manufacturing of new items, helping save energy and resources

Price: 750+ (all items are one-of-a-kind)

Simply stunning. I would be more than glad to “recycle” these amazingly beautiful pieces of furniture
