Every Sunday from now ’til the end of time (or until you, dear readers, get sick of it…whichever comes first), I will compile a list of green links from around the blogosphere that I hope you’ll love as much as I did. There will be decor tips, green fashion finds, cleaning tips, general living tips and an occasional sanity tip, because we all need those once in a while. So without further adieu, here are your links:
From the Blogosphere:
- Top 10 Modern and Eco-friendly Fabric Sources on Etsy {Tiny Decor}
- 50 Reasons to Go Green with Reusable Shopping Bags {Squawkfox}
- Los Angeles Bans Plastic Bags {Inhabitat}
- Breaking Down Green Cleaning Products {Healthy Green Moms}
- Green Etiquette 101 {Green and Clean Mom}
- Recycle Your Plastic Gift Cards {Focus Organic}
Green Shopping:
- The Oko Box, an awesome green fashion boutique. Check out their awesome undies.
- Ely Organics, a great source for certified organic Miessence products.
- EcoLips, awesome lip balm {via 1GreenProduct.com}
Miscellaneous:
- Positively Green Magazine: I received my first issue last week, and I was very impressed! The magazine is chock full of helpful green information and features, from the cover story on Mrs. Ed Begley, Jr., Rachelle, to explaining how those numbered stickers on the produce at your local grocery store tell you whether said produce is organic. And when you subscribe, $2 of your payment will be donated to the eco-charity you’ll select from 3 options. I’m glad I subscribed, and I can’t wait to get the next issue!
From Green Your Decor:
- If you haven’t yet, don’t forget to enter our latest giveaway of Way Basics recycled paper furniture. You’ll have to put on your thinking cap, but the prize is so worth it! And there’s another giveaway coming this week along with a guest post from a woman who is an eco-superstar in her own right. You’ll have to come back to find out who it is
- If you’ve been keeping up with the Green Rooms in a Box Series, you know there have been some great living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms thus far. This week, you’ll be treated to three awesome kids’ bedrooms, with nurseries to come next week.

Thank you so much for the mention and for sharing my article with your readers!
Squawkfoxs last blog post..eBook: Frugal Food & Fitness: Get fab without spending a fortune
Many thanks for the link love and mentioning my article!
Now, off to check out the links…
I have been thinking about doing this link love thing once in awhile, but my problem is, when I find articles I love, I forget to bookmark them or bookmark them and can’t find it again (I have at least 1000 bookmarks I need to organize, no exaggerations!). I swear, I WOULD lose my head if it weren’t attached… lately, anyway.
Thanks for the link to my post! I really admire how much work you must put into this site… all the rooms in a box blow my mind.
Hey Jennae,
Thanks for the link to 1GreenProduct.com’s EcoLips post.
I was just using one of their berry balms today.
Mmm…tasty
I’ve kind of adopted their slogan (”Don’t Panic – It’s Organic!”) as my own. It’s a great catchall phrase

Aaron Daltons last blog post..Health / Beauty – Eco Lips Organic Lip Balm
Jennae,
Thanks for the love. This is such a great idea and you can be sure I will be eagerly awaiting it every Sunday
Great article! That magazine looks wonderful. I have a Kiwi subscription, however this one would be JUST FOR ME
Thanks a ton for filling us in!
Suzanne B (Crunchy Green Mom)s last blog post..This is adorable…..
@Squawkfox, Monica and Aaron No problem! More to come next week!
@Stefanie What I normally do is Stumble posts that I want to go back to again. Thanks to Firefox3 and the SU toolbar, all of those links are automatically filed into a bookmark folder in FF3 called StumbleUpon, which are then organized by SU category. Makes going back to the ones I really liked very easy. And thanks for the compliment on the series. It is a lot of work, but I love doing it!
@Tiny Decor I’ll make sure I give you a reason to come back!
@Suzanne B I keep hearing about Kiwi and I want to subscribe, but from a person who reads it, is it worth it?
