A Perfect View: Porthole Mirror Collection

Porthole Mirror Collection

Mirrors are the designer’s secret of the ages. A few well-placed mirrors can completely change a room, or at least give the impression of a huge change. Have a small room? Hang a mirror at eye-level directly across from a window to reflect light and create the illusion of a second window. Have a dark room? Place a large mirror across from a light source, like a table or floor lamp for extra illumination.

The Porthole Mirror Collection could handle any of these tasks, but truthfully, the 5 mirrors that make up the group are just plain cool.  In staggered sizes, they will create a dramatic effect no matter how you hang them, though I am partial to the seemingly random way the stagers at Viva Terra placed them for the photo op.  And since the wheels are turning, they would look absolutely perfect hung behind or opposite a bed covered in my dream bedding.  Now there’s a geat idea :)

Why It’s Green:

  • Made of naturally-aged, fast-growing shesham wood harvested from sustainable sources

Price: $369 (aff)
