As much as I love animals, I’ve never been partial to prints that include photorealistic images of horses, dogs or even dolphins. I prefer them in silhouette, much like the birds prominently displayed on so many of the items I’ve featured at Green Your Decor. There’s something about the hint of an image that appeals to me. What I’ve been drawn to more often lately is animal illustrations and caricatures. It’s fun to see artists’ interpretations of nature’s creatures.
This pair of pillows designed by blinth feature a mouse and a rabbit in round, childlike form, and they are very cute! I love the red, white and black color scheme and the graphic patterns surrounding the animals in the center. They look like they’re just waiting for you to reach out an hug them! And since I love the idea of using sophisticated color schemes in kids’ rooms — like the chic girl’s nursery I did a few weeks ago — this color scheme and style certainly get the wheels in my head turning for a brank spanking new room design.

Indeed, these pillows are adorable! There is something to be said for the bold print that is very stimulating to a little one’s mind…great find!
These pillows are very cute. I like the geometric pattern with the animals… it makes them sweet, but not too girly at the same time as not to offend any male occupants of the home.
I would have no problem going cheek-to-cheek with one of these guys.
sheasys last blog post..Not as Good with Oreos
@Maternally Posh Bold patterns are great for infants, and these colors are just muted enough not to overstimulate them.
@Kristi I can definitely second that
