I won’t claim to be an expert kitchen designer (yet 
), but I know that in my dream kitchen, one of the most important features I’d want to have is a bar. They are perfect for laying out food when have family over, and they make it really easy to keep kids close at hand while cooking. They also provide room for extra seating, and we all know how precious that can be in a kitchen. We currently own some barstools that look like they belong in 1984. I’m sure the look was modern back then, but now…well, they just look a bit cheap.
If I were to replace them today, I’d head right for these Boomerang Barstools. They are sleek, modern and downright sexy, and would perfectly complement the look of the dark wood cabinets I’d so love to have. And unlike the outdated barstools we have now, they don’t spin, so they would mean one less thing to yell at the kids about.

I love these, although my kids rock back and forth on the legs of our stools, so I don’t know if it will solve my problem in that regard. I really like the low profile on the back because we don’t have a lot of walking space around that area of our bar. Nice pick.
