Every time I find a new company that makes eco-friendly home furnishings, I feel like I’ve stumbled upon a hidden treasure. A little dramatic, I know, but true. Although the market for green products is growing, it can still be a bit tough to find products I haven’t seen before. Wabisabi Green’s line of EcoArt pillows made my week.
Available in a great variety of styles, there are six pillows each in the Shore, Zen and Leaf collections. They are covered in 100% bamboo twill, and the insert is covered in unbleached cotton. You can also choose between recycled polyfill or sustainable Kapok fibers.
Now that the seasons are about to change, its a perfect excuse to give your decor a fresh new look without spending a lot of money. Switch out the pillows on your sofa and get a matching blanket. If you are so inclined, give the room a new coat of zero-VOC paint. And because Wabisabi also produces wall art in several of the same patterns as the pillows, you won’t have to go searching elsewhere for art to complement your new look.
Why It’s Green:
- Pillow cover made of 100% bamboo twill and printed with water-based inks
- Your choice of recycled polyfiber or sustainable kapok fibers
- Designed, handprinted and handmade in the U.S.
Price: $60-64

I’m Jennae Petersen, and I’m a lot of things. A mother, a graphic artist, a connosieur of beautiful interiors and a purveyor of all things design. Green Your Decor was borne of frustration in my attempts to find eco-friendly housewares that were also beautiful, and inspiration to do something to reduce my own carbon footprint and help others do the same in a beautiful way.
