I have learned not to count on mainstream furniture makers to offer eco-friendly furniture. Every once in a while, however, a big company will prove my skepticism wrong.
Case in point: West Elm’s gorgeous Mid-Century furniture collection, which also happens to be made of FSC-certified wood.
One word: Swoon! I am an absolute sucker for mid-century furniture styling! Though I’d prefer the real thing, I am absolutely here for reproductions, particularly ones made with the environment in mind. What I wouldn’t give to bring home some of these pieces right now. One of the dressers would make the perfect changing table that would stand the test of time, and the desk? Me. Want.
The collection is surprisingly large, including the following: nightstand, desk, small console, large buffet, 3-drawer dresser, 4-drawer dresser, 6-drawer dresser and bed.
Almost every piece is available in several colors: white, black, acorn and a mix of white and acorn. The nightstand, however, is the real score. It is available in 6 colors, to include red and blue.
How can you not appreciate those pops of color? This collection has me furnishing my dream house in my head. Again 🙂
