Pure, Natural Style: Silver Smoke Organic Bedding Collection

Silver Smoke Bedding Collection from Under the Canopy

In the not-so-distant past, I used to be a serial shopper. You know — one of those people who would go to the mall or to a department store “just to look,” then leave a few hours later with a couple of shopping bags in tow and my wallet significantly lighter. Thankfully, I now know why that type of lifestyle isn’t good for the Earth or my family, and I’ve changed my ways. But if there’s one thing that could make me revert, it’s beautiful organic bedding. The fabulous Silver Smoke bedding collection from Under the Canopy isn’t helping matters any.

I would have new bedding every other week if I had my way. But since I can’t, and really shouldn’t, I get my fix with virtual shopping for this blog. That doesn’t mean I won’t have dreams of black and white, damask adorned duvet covers and pillows tonight. It just means I’ll have to live vicariously through the lucky reader who actually does purchase this bedding. Or I’ll have to convince my husband that this really is our dream bedding and promise it will be the last time I say that :)

Available in the collection are: a bed skirt, duvet, standard, king & euro shams, and 3 different decorative pillows. Each piece is sold separately. The duvets and skirt are available in full/queen and king.

Why It’s Green:

  • Made of organic cotton.
  • Under the Canopy underwrites The Chetna Project, a unique educational program in India’s cotton growing region, and donates a portion of their proceeds to The Rainforest Foundation.

Price: $60-350

I looked up your website because going green is important to me now. I am a lot like you in that I also like change. So I found the perfect solution. I found some beautiful organic bedding in a neutral, natural color. They were woven in Italy and are so soft.
They are organic because they are 100% organic cotton, no chemical bleaches or dyes (my husband has allergies). If someone in your life has the same issue I highly recommend checking them out. elegantlinenspc.com/Organic-Bed-Linen. Then so I would still have some variety in my life, I added color with smaller accent items like pillows and artwork. That way when I get bored with that color way…I only have to change my accessories to get a whole new look. It’s a win win situation all the way around.
