Serve Up a Little Color: Soleil Serving Trays from Bambeco

There are a lot of habits my family has developed that I’m trying to get us to change. Among them is our tendency to eat our meals everywhere but the dining table. This means in the living room, our bedrooms, and more recently, outside on the patio. Add a 3-year-old to the mix, and that means we have a lot of spills and crumbs to clean up after each meal. Since I’m not especially fond of the eat-in kitchen (neither are my daughter and husband), it’s unlikely we’ll start eating there any time soon. So I figured we probably need to acquire some accessories that will make our informal mealtimes a little easier to manage. These Soleil Serving Trays from Bambeco are exactly what I had in mind.

They will provide a beautiful pop of color whether we choose to go with red, yellow or green. They’ll also make it easier for us to get our plates and cups from the kitchen to wherever we’re eating, and make it more likely that we’ll take them all back to the kitchen when we’re done. At least that’s what I’d like to think these trays will do for us. Hopefully, they’ll also encourage my husband to do the “breakfast in bed” thing more often (although, wonderful man that he is, he does bring me breakfast about once a week)

And unlike me, if you’re inclined to entertain guests on a fairly regular basis, this would make a great investment that will make serving them a lot easier. They’re made of recycled materials and available in 3 sizes, so you should easily be able to find one to meet your needs.

Why It’s Green:

  • Made of 100% recycled materials (although the Bambeco site doesn’t specify what materials)

Price: $35-78 (aff)

@deana I’m happy to throw you a lifesaver any time :) The bright yellow is what caught my eye too. The blue and green are nice, but the yellow just speaks to me!

Great recomendation! They are made of 100% recycled cardboard and have a 100% biodegradable finish. They are sturdy like solid wood and have a stylish leathery finish. LOVE THE YELLOW! Bought two and they overnighted them to me. Thanks!

@Darden I’m glad to hear that they are as beautiful and functional in person as they are in the photos!

Yes, and I especially love the no slide aspect. The texture is such that glasses won’t going sliding across and off the trays. I quickly appreciated this as I could have had a nasty spill of my martinis.

Hello

I am inquiring about your serving trays made from 100% recycled materials. I was wondering if you could give me a description on what recycled materials these trays are made of.

Thank you,
Melissa
